Целью нашей работы является проанализировать и сравнить семантику английских фразеологизмов с семой движения.
В своей работе мы преследовали следующие задачи:
• рассмотреть и описать различные подходы к определению понятия фразеологизма и классификации фразеологических единиц;
• проанализировать лингвистические исследования фразеологизмов на современном этапе;
• отобрать материал исследования;
• описать различные значения слова движение (movement), как семы отобранных фразеологизмов;
• проанализировать семантику отобранных фразеологизмов;
• классифицировать отобранные фразеологизмы по реализации одного из значений слова движение.
