For centuries, historians, political theorists, anthropologists and the public have tended to think about the political process in seasonal, cyclical terms. From Polybius to Paul Kennedy, from ancient Rome to imperial Britain, we discern a rhythm to history. Great powers, like great men, are born, rise, reign and then gradually wane. No matter whether civilizations decline culturally, economically or ecologically, their downfalls are protracted.
In the same way, the challenges that face the United States are often represented as slow-burning. It is the steady march of demographics -- which is driving up the ratio of retirees to workers -- not bad policy that condemns the public finances of the United States to sink deeper into the red. It is the inexorable growth of China's economy, not American stagnation, that will make the gross domestic product of the People's Republic larger than that of the United States by 2027.

Definiując procesy integracji w Ameryce Łacińskiej należy zwrócić uwagę na dwa aspekty. Pierwszym z nich jest to, iż teorię integracji tworzyły równoległe nauki polityczne i ekonomiczne co doprowadziło do tego, że w chwili obecnej dysponujemy dwoma alternatywnymi obszarami. Jeden z nich skupia się na procesie jednoczenia państw , a drugi łączy rynki. Bela Balass klasyk ekonomicznej teorii integracji stwierdził, że w centrum zainteresowania teorii ekonomicznej leży poznawanie gospodarczych mechanizmów i konsekwencji integracji, nie zaś wskazywanie czy u jej podstawy legły przesłanki natury politycznej czy ekonomicznej.

Charity in America is very developed. As show researches, the majority of Americans 2-5 percent of the incomes endow to non-profit organizations on the average and devote some hours per week on the voluntary help of the organization! The vast and varied expanse of the United States of America stretches from the heavily industrialized, metropolitan Atlantic seaboard, across the rich flat farms of the central plains, over the majestic Rocky Mountains to the fertile, densely populated west coast, then halfway across the Pacific to the semi-tropical island-state of Hawaii. Without Hawaii and Alaska the continental U.S. measures 4,505 kilometres from its Atlantic to Pacific coasts, 2,574 kilometres from Canada to Mexico; it covers 9,372,614 square kilometres. In area, it is the fourth largest nation in the world (behind Russia, Canada and China).

After its 200th birthday the United States of America still holds the leading position in the western world. A country that inspired many appellations — "Land of Opportunity," "Melting Pot," "God's Country," is still referred to us as a land of superlatives — "the richest," "the greatest," "the most." What makes the USA the leader of the western world is its economic, political and military dominance over other countries. The United States lies in the central part of the North American Continent between the two oceans: the Atlantic Ocean to the East and the Pacific Ocean to the West. Friendly Canada to the north and friendly Mexico to the south are the only countries bordering it. The USA consists of three separate parts.
