What is the EU ?

 

The European Union (EU)

 is an economic and political union of 27 member states which are located primarily in Europe.

 

•     A monetary union, the eurozone, was established in 1999 and is composed of 17 member states.

  
The main targets of the EU  

 

• - The introduction of European citizenship;
• - Ensuring freedom, security and justice;
• - To promote economic and social progress;
• - Strengthening the role of Europe in the world.

The European Union includes 27 members:

It’s nessesary...

 

•  To have competitive market economy,
• To hold to democratic principles,
• The principles of freedom and human rights,
•  The principle of the rule of law.
